I recently travelled to Dusseldorf for a couple of days. And I was lucky enough to be able to meet up with lovely Kate Rena, a songwriting colleague I had met via Twitter at the beginning of the year. Kate is a young singer/songwriter with an angelic voice and a very open-minded personality. We spent an entire day together and as you can imagine, two musicians can´t go a day without making music, so we recorded a cover version of Tim Mc Graw´s and Faith Hill´s duet “I need you”. Kate and I sure had a lot of fun together. We went to see two local songwriters perform next to the river Rhein that day as well. Dusseldorf was very good to me! Of course, I coulnd´t resist driving to Cologne on my way back home and visit the breathtaking Dome. Enjoy some of my pictures below and stay tuned for our cover version of I need you!
